What it does
Build a moving backdrop without searching for stock footage. Choose from 60 generators across fluid, gradient, neon, geometric, particles, digital, waves, cinematic, retro and premium looks. Drag a generator onto your Edit-page timeline, then adjust its colors, motion and layout in the Inspector. Choose one of eight palettes or set your own three colors. Set a loop duration for repeating backgrounds, or turn looping off for continuous drift. Change the Random Seed for a new arrangement you can recreate later. Works on Mac and Windows with 16:9 landscape and 9:16 vertical timelines in HD and UHD (4K). Draft quality is available while editing. This purchase is for personal, non-commercial projects only.

- How do I install the generators?
- Extract your download, double-click the .drfx file with Resolve open and accept the installation. Restart Resolve, then open Edit → Effects → Generators → AGNI MotionScapes. The included guide also explains manual installation.
- Which computers and Resolve editions are supported?
- Works on Mac and Windows. Tested with DaVinci Resolve Studio 21.1.2 on an Apple Silicon Mac. Resolve Free, Linux and earlier versions have not been verified.
- Which formats and resolutions can I use?
- MotionScapes supports 16:9 landscape and 9:16 vertical timelines in HD and UHD (4K). The backgrounds follow your timeline resolution.
- Can I use this for client or paid work?
- This purchase is for personal, non-commercial projects only. Client work, paid or sponsored productions, advertising and employer projects are not included. Contact AGNI about commercial licensing. The pack and rendered stock background packs may not be redistributed or resold.
- Can I change the look and loop length?
- Yes. Choose from eight palettes or set your own three colors, adjust the motion and loop duration, and change the Random Seed for a different layout. The optional Randomiser script changes the seed for you.
- Will playback be smooth?
- Performance depends on the background and computer. For heavier looks such as Floating Dust, Starfield, Bokeh Universe and Fire Embers, use Draft quality or render cache while editing.
- Are updates included?
- Free MotionScapes 1.x updates are included when released. For help, contact AGNI with your order reference, computer, Resolve version and generator name.
