# AGNI VDROP — install guide Version 1.0.0 · Video Drop for DaVinci Resolve Purchase includes the macOS Apple Silicon, macOS Intel, and Windows x64 installers, this install guide, and the changelog. Personal and commercial editing use are included. Free 1.x updates are included when released. 1. Quit AGNI VDROP and DaVinci Resolve. Choose the installer that matches your computer: macOS Apple Silicon, macOS Intel, or Windows x64. 2. Open the `.pkg` or `Setup.exe` and follow the installer. macOS installs to Applications. Windows installs to Program Files and adds a Start-menu shortcut. 3. Open **AGNI VDROP** from Applications or Start. Paste a public media link you are authorized to download, then analyze it. 4. Choose quality and format (video or audio, and the output container). Optional compatibility conversion prepares H.264/AAC MP4 when you need it. Download the file. 5. Open your Resolve project. Drag the completed file into the Media Pool, or use **Reveal file** and then **File → Import → Media**. This handoff is the same standalone app for Resolve Free and Studio. Free does not include the automatic import panel. **Optional Studio import.** After installation, restart Resolve Studio 20.1 or later. **Workspace → Workflow Integrations → AGNI VDROP** can import into the current Media Pool bin or a named bin. The native panel path is not fully validated yet, so treat this as optional — not a proven one-click import. Standalone mode always uses the manual handoff above. **What was tested.** The Apple Silicon app, and a downloaded H.264/AAC MP4 imported into Resolve Studio 21.1. Intel Mac and Windows installers are included; on-device install testing is still pending. Linux and Windows ARM are not included. **Requirements.** macOS 12+ or Windows 10/11 x64, a compatible Resolve installation, internet access, and free disk space for downloads. No extra plugins. The runtime, yt-dlp, FFmpeg, FFprobe, and Deno are bundled. These installers are unsigned. Download only content you own or are authorized to use. AGNI VDROP is independently developed and is not endorsed by Blackmagic Design. **Uninstall.** Windows: Settings → Apps → AGNI VDROP. macOS: move AGNI VDROP.app to Trash. If you added the optional integration, remove only `com.agni.vdrop` from `/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Workflow Integration Plugins/`. Downloaded files and local history stay on your computer.
