# Install AGNI Drive Downloader on a Mac

**Version:** 0.1.4 · **Requires:** macOS 11 or later · **Works on:** Apple Silicon and Intel Macs

1. Download `AGNI_Drive_Downloader_0.1.4_macOS_universal.dmg` from your purchase link and open it.
2. Drag **AGNI Drive Downloader** into **Applications**.
3. Open the app from Applications. This release is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Follow the normal macOS confirmation if prompted.
4. Paste a Google Drive file or folder link into AGNI. The item must be shared as **Anyone with the link**. Choose a destination folder and start the transfer.
5. Open **File Check** after the transfer to review the downloaded files. If the sender supplied a checksum list, add it to compare the files with their list.

To update within the 1.x series, download the newer installer and replace the app in Applications. AGNI keeps job history and settings in your user Library; replacing the app does not remove them.

**Trouble opening a link?** Restricted Drive links and native Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are not supported. Ask the sender to make the file or folder public, or download an export of a native Google document separately.
